# JC Math – Integration Techniques

## This post will cover all the integration techniques for JC Math.

I remembered during my JC days, few people are listening to what the lecturers are teaching. Some students are asleep, some people are doing their own work, while the rest are simply day-dreaming.

Most of them either find the pace of the lessons too fast, such that they could not catch up. There are a few exceptions (especially overseas scholars) who were too fast for the lecturers and study way ahead of what they teach.

I certainly belong to the first group. I remembered I was still trying to catch with my Differentiation tutorial when the lecturer was teaching Integration techniques. Though I had good foundation in Secondary Additional Math, I still find the pace of teaching too fast for me.

Fast forward 20 years, the same problem is happening to most of my JC Math students now.

Many of them have no idea what the lecturers are teaching and they lag behind in their work. Many of them tried they best to listen in lectures, as they are afraid of lagging behind more. But this doesn’t help as their foundation of their earlier topics is still weak and this will result in getting more lost in class.

That is why I created series of JC Math videos to allow them to learn at their own pace. You can learn from these videos as well.

Integration techniques is an important chapter in JC Math. You need to know when and how to apply which technique. If you don’t learn this well, it will affect your future topics such as Differential Equations.

Watch the videos below and practice the questions given at the end.

Do not go for your A-level Math exams without knowing these techniques!

1. Integration by Standard Formula

2. Integration by Standard Formula 2

3. Integration of Exponential Function

4. Integration of Trigo Function

5. Integration by Factor Formula

6. Integration by Inverse Trigo Formula

7. Integration by Completing the Square

8. Integration by Partial Fractions

9. Integration by Substitution

10. Integration by Parts

Now, it is your turn to try. To score for JC Math, you need to practice. Download the questions by clicking on the link below:
