Ms Siang Hong

Ms Siang Hong is a Chinese Language Specialist at Grade Solution. She graduated with First-Class Honours in Chinese Studies from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) at the National Institute of Education (NIE). These qualifications have equipped her with a strong foundation in both subject knowledge and effective teaching practices.
She spent four years teaching in a secondary school, where she guided students from both the Express and Normal Academic streams, including graduating classes. In addition, she has several years of experience as a National Oral Examiner for the N-Level and O-Level examinations, which has sharpened her expertise in assessing students’ Chinese language proficiency.
Ms Siang Hong is passionate about helping students grow in their Chinese language skills. She uses a variety of teaching methods and incorporates technology to make lessons interactive and engaging. Her focus is on strengthening students’ foundations, while also building their confidence in using the language. Known for her patience and gentle approach, she creates a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels encouraged to participate and do their best.
